“MAKE YOUR OWN” HOT GLASS WORKSHOPS

This is a great first time glass experience! The instructor will teach and assist you to gather hot glass from the 2000-degree furnace. Students will learn to use glass blowing tools, pick up bits of colored glass frit and manipulate the molten material. The glass and color is heated to a malleable state in the flame of the Glory Hole.

To create their one-of-a-kind design, students will manipulate the colorful hot glass with a variety of glass blower's tools including a water-soaked wood blocks, jacks and tweezers.  

Finally, with the instructor's assistance, students will gather more glass to sculpt or blow the final shape.  

You will get an overview of how to safely work with hot glass and a demonstrations with the master glassblower’s guidance as you create your own glass art.  

Every piece, unique and exciting!   

No experience necessary. Materials and color included.  Scheduled at your convenience.

Small groups of 2 to 6 and larger groups up to 20.

$100 per person average price depending on Class, Level, # of Students
